BMS Operator & Janitor Salary: 2000 SR Basic Function: · To operate the Building Management System (BMS) for monitoring, functioning and controlling various essential building equipment programmed within approved parameters in the BMS system. · Record alarms / faults / breakdowns and conduct field inspection to verify; Trouble-shoot and reset / restore as needed. · To check and verify operation of all BMS field devices, trouble-shoot faults / alarms and remedy solution. · Consistently monitor operation of all essential building equipment Adjust building equipment settings and parameters to meet changing conditions as approved by line management. · Maintain equipment data, performance graphs, equipment fault / alarm history and periodical logs. · Coordinate and assist Maintenance technicians to identify cause of equipment breakdowns and restore. · Report any inconsistencies and repeated faults to the Superior Education, skills & experience: · Higher Secondary School and Authenticated certificate qualifying as a BMS Operator / Technician. · Minimum 3 years’ experience of working Independently as a BMS Operator, preferably in an organization similar to the magnitude of THE PROPONENT. · Knowledge and background of Building Automation systems, HVAC Controls, Instrumentation and Data Gathering Panels. · Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. · Computer literate with knowledge of MS Word & Excel. Good communication and presentation skills. · Previous experience of Johnson Controls METASYS Network System Workstation or equivalent is an advantage.
