BONIFACE UMANA WROTE: 2015 GUBER! *AKS SSG IN FORGERY SCANDAL *BRIBE SELF ACCLAIMED EDITORS WITH 50,000... *AS OLIVER UDOKPO EXPOSES UMANA. In a bid to win the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state, the secretary to the state government Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel had resolved to forge the Peoples Democratic Party membership card and backdated his membership to 2011. The Arrow gathered that, the Secretary to the state government, who had neither been a member of any political party, nor an associate member of Peoples Democratic Party, has last week, at his home town, deceived illiterate members of his community by tendering a fake PDP card, which the membership was backdated to 2011. At the end of the nefarious crime show, Mr. Udom presented 12 cows, huge sum of money to his hungry ward men and was later rushed to the vehicle as if he was suffering from epileptic. Being conscious of his crime, the SSG, did not talk to the press so as not to be exposed, but an executive member of PDP, affirmed that, the membership card was not his since it was backdated. It will be recalled that the said SSG was escorted to the forgery event by ALGON chairman Mr. Nse Ntuen, who was caught by the United State of America Police for money laundering last month. However, as soon as Community Pulse Newspaper, a local tabloid in Akwa Ibom State, published the alleged forgery in its Sunday edition, the Secretary to the State government, via his chief Press secretary, Mr. Oliver Udokpo had bribe other self acclaimed publishers with 50,000 in order to stop publishing the said news item. A correspondent with one of the national news paper who did not want his name on print wondered why the state scribe should tender such a huge amount of money to non journalist. ‘Oliver had called one of the publishers of local paper, who also is a politician to come to Government House and get a token of 50,000 naira, on reaching that, there were other publishers, but no national newspaper correspondent was there, we later realized that, the money was to bury the forgery news.’ He said. The source recounted how Mr. Oliver Udokpo spoiled the former Secretary to the State government Obong Umana Okon Umana, stressing that, he was ‘Mr. too know’. According to him, ‘If Umana used to carry all this publishers along, there would not have exposed him…he taught Iboro Otongaran will stay in Lagos and help him’
