BREAKFAST WITH DIVINE EXHORTATION!!! In this world of hectic pace, how can parents and children keep the lines of communication open? This can be done by heeding the counsel of Ephesians 5:15,16 which reads, "So keep strict watch that how you walk is not as unwise but as wise persons. Buying out the opportune time for yourselves,because the days are wicked."(NW). Buying out time in this instance entails making changes in lifestyle so as to spend more time in communicating with family members. Such changes may include avoiding jobs that may consume all of our time, and limiting the number of time spent on television viewing or computer use. Morever, having at least one meal together each day as a family, and making arrangement for a weekly family worship will offer both parents and children the opportunity to draw close to one another by means of effective communication.
