#BREAKING 873 drivers caught speeding in July Of the 873 drivers caught speeding, 582 were issued with a Traffic Infringement Notice (TIN) and 291 drivers were issued with a formal caution. Half of those drivers caught speeding were driving at between 15km/h and 30km/h over the limit, 10 were caught speeding more than 45km/h over the speed limit and one in five were caught speeding in a 40km/h school zone. These results come half-way through the joint ACT Policing and Justice and Community Safety Directorate ‘Stop pushing the limits’ campaign which aims to encourage attitudinal and behavioural change towards speeding.
