Babygirl has been in IN all week at youth camp. Going to drive up to get her today. Am flooded with memories the loooong drive from my home to Lufkin for summer camps. The dusty campground. The hot, hot Texas sun. The clouds of hairspray and perfume. Waterguns. The snack shack. The clothes borrowing/swapping and sand in my shoes. Choir. Alter service. Boy watching. Im so very grateful for all the youth workers, dorm workers, kitchen workers, grounds crew, the music & ministry teams who made those magical moments possible for me. I didnt pay much attention to your hard work then. Thank you. You left fingerprints on my soul.
