Back from the vets with Leo (officially changed his name on the record...gotta get as much good juju as possible). Diagnosis pneumonia so he got a dose of fluids for the dehydration and another round of antibiotics. So, he has another lease on life at least for a while to see if the fluids and meds work. Apparently he us up there in years according to the vet after examining the teeth. Such a good boy AND patient. He was looking for love even in the exam room and snuggled into his bed to and from the office...no car fear, although I guess as sick as he is he probably doesnt care. Thank you all for the positive vibes. I cannot go crazy with the vet bills but one more time is doable...he deserves this chance...shame on whoever dumped him last fall.
