The 33-year-old singer tied the knot his longtime model sweetheart Rochelle Kandis in an elegant ceremony on the Crystal Lawn on Saturday at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Saturdays nuptials were a long time coming for the couple, who delayed to exchange the wedding vows when the Backstreet boy singer checked into rehab for the third time earlier this year. A.J. McLean and Rochelle DeAnna Karidis got engaged in January 2010 after the singer proposed to his model girlfriend on his 32nd birthday during a live concert performance in Las Vegas. Their wedding ceremony was attended by their friends and family, including comedienne Kathy Griffin, New Kids on the Block singer Joey McIntyre, ellow BSB’ers Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter and Brian Littrell. During the couple’s wedding ceremony, the bride was reported to wear a gown by Vera Wang and walked down the aisle to Guns N’ Roses’ power ballad, “November Rain.” McLean, 33, and his bride Rochelle Kandis said “I do” under a gazebo adorned with white hydrangeas while their guests were surrounded by warm elements like romantic chandeliers. Preparing for the wedding and raising a family, A.J. McLean and his girlfriend Rochelle moved Hollywood to the Valley area of Los Angeles earlier this year to live in a bigger home. However, the singer said that he is in no rush to start having kids. Backstreet Boy singer thought that the newlywed couple will have kids about three years after their marriage. A.J. McLean shared on his Twitter, saying: “Wedding is tomorrow. Ro and I could barely sleep last night. I think were a little excited.” Earlier, the singer also tweeted I really miss and love [Rochelle].
