Based on what I read below, I just laughed. Why? Because society wants it both ways. We get mad that youth are out of line, disrespectful, rude, & stay in trouble. We also get upset when children are whooped. We cant have it both ways. My Granny used to make us pick switches from the backyard. We better not have brought her an itty bitty switch lol! And in public, she had her pow-pow - some paint stirring sticks rubber-banded together lol!! She just laid it for us to see and there was never a problem. My parents whooped us with a belt and their hand. We are not scarred. We are not emotional troubled because of the fact that our grandmother and parents believed in corporal punishment. Ugh. Im so over it. #whoopminetoo
