Before i founded SAME and its subsidiaries, SAME Business Consultants and SAME Frozen foods, I invited seven friends to my rented shack in 2011 late summer to discuss business opportunities. After discussing it for full two hours to start something with them, but they were confused. I have to say that i may not have put myself across in a clear manner but then Real Mountain was formed. In 2012 Real Mountain was registered with four directors and tried to some insurance ventures but by end of 2012, I was left alone to fend and the worse was my girlfriend also left me complaining of Im useless without stable job. In 2013 SAME was formed under my own name SAMUEL MANABE ENTERPRISE PTY LTD and focus was in Business Management which achieve the mandate but still faltering due to lack of finance. In 2014 January I was broke to the extend i cant even look inside my fridge and cupboard but then again I sat down with myself to look at other initiatives. Then SAME Brands was the next .... Again, before i formed SAME Brands I invited more than 10 friends, including my new girlfriend and discussed it in fully and with my business maturity. The verdict was: 9 out of the 10 told me to drop the idea for multitude of reasons, such as YOU DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT FROZEN FOODS and YOU DONT HAVE THE START UP CAPITAL FOR THE BUSINESS SO YOU WANT TO USE US There is where i remember one friend of mine Kenny Baloyi who was not working full time at Waste Management in Germiston, who told me: If you want to do it, just try it. If things dont work out for you can always revert to what you were doing before That and those words sat very well with me as I was looking fro the investors of the business in two past months. I pondered upon this for many nights and when the latest was that my new girlfriend also decide to move on because I was wasting her time and she was looking for man with money not trying businesses, i felt too disappointed but the every mornings to me was decided, that Im doing it alone anyway. Yes the idea is opposed but but Im confident to it. Looking back, I realised the biggest driving force for me then was not my confidence in the frozen food market and the potential it held, but more of this, i said: NO MATTER WHAT ONE DOES, REGARDLESS OF FAILURE OR SUCCESS, THE EXPERIENCE IS A FORM OF SUCCESS IN ITSELF. I remembered that I was poor known boy but that must not define me, i have to keep trying and if it doesnt work, as my only friend Kenny said: YOU ALWAYS CAN GO BACK TO WHAT YOU WERE DOING BEFORE. Today, I have unlocked my fear and Im alone in managing the SAME Frozen foods business which a flow of many business application to have it by Women Cooperatives is uncountable, meaning already the business is R50 000-00 at stake if i can allow all cooperatives to be part of it. And i have it allowed myself to be charmed by that applications and money but I have took my own money to start a business and the whole profit is a beauty to me than those girlfriends who walk out of my life. You see, it then made me to say this words that: ALL MEN DREAM, BUT NOT EQUALLY Those who dream in the dark in their beds recesses of the night awake in the day to find all was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes and make it possible. Today SAME Brands is about to be found around the malls at Gauteng, thanks to my perseverence and thanks to my friends and girlfriends who did not believe in me.
