Being a leader.........we never had leaders in the hood to tell us which direction to go in. What we considered to be leaders besides a few exceptions was just somebody who was as lost as we were. I use to sit back and take inventory on a system we lived in that didnt give inner city kids many options. Broken families didnt make it any better either. No father...no mother in some cases makes it hard to function in society. Just because you had your parents raise you didnt mean they were fit parents to handle the job of raising you. To tell the truth, most of us raised ourselves. Most of our parents didnt have the knowledge of other things like we have today. Its truly up to us to become our own leaders in society and not depend on miracles waiting to happen. Ex: if you sit on your couch for the rest of the month, how are your bills gonna get paid? We have to save ourselves and depend on our own effort. No more excuses about what we cant control. Thats the sign of being a leader. Your destiny needs help to be fulfilled. Be that leader that your destiny is calling for. Im just saying!! Make it happen for yourself!!!
