"Antiviral" is an incredibly original Canadian horror movie that gets under your skin like few others. Brandon Cronenberg is in full control, even when it is fairly obvious that he is taking a page from his body horror extraordinaire father, the great David Cronenberg. The story gets convoluted part way through, but the great performances by that kid from X-Men First Class (Caleb Landry Jones) and Malcolm Macdowell keep the movie going! Horror movies have lost their sociopolitical angle, "Antiviral" changes that.
