GK - Peter Schmeichel (MUFC): Its difficult to look past the Great Dane with David Seaman and Edwin Van Der Sar honourable mentions, but the keeper was superb and won five titles. RB - Denis Irwin (MUFC): Although primarily a left-back, Irwins versatility meant the Irishman could also play on the right side of defence and chalked up seven titles. LB - Ashley Cole (CFC): One of the few players to win the league twice - with Arsenal and Chelsea - the England international has been the best in the position for over a decade. CB - Rio Ferdinand (MUFC): For sheer consistency the Englishman makes it in, having been the most expensive defender in the world twice and has six winners medals. CB - Tony Adams (AFC): Many may be calling for John Terry to partner Ferdinand but in the 1990s there was no one better at the back than the Gunners skipper. CM - Steven Gerrard (LFC): The only player in the team never to have won the title, Gerrard does have 16 years experience in the top flight and over 100 goals. CM - Roy Keane (MUFC): It was tough to leave the likes of Frank Lampard, Paul Scholes and Patrick Vieira out but this tough midfielder takes the spot for world-class leadership. RAM - Eric Cantona (MUFC): Spent just five years in the division but managed to win four titles in that time and was by far and away Manchester Uniteds best player during that time. CAM - Dennis Bergkamp (AFC): Was one of the best players on the planet whilst at Highbury and was also arguably the most technically gifted star to grace the league, also winning it three times. LAM - Cristiano Ronaldo (MUFC): A genuine world-class superstar who developed into one of the best of all time whilst with the Red Devils and lifted the trophy on three occasions. ST - Alan Shearer (newcastle): Another tough decision as stars such as Thierry Henry and Ruud Van Nistelrooy could easily have made it in, but with 280 league goals theres no looking past Shearer. #oas
