Best gift you can give to your children is good education. The new generation has great advantage over past generations who had few choices to administer in the their field work for living i.e doctor, engineer or architect. The new technology has given expansion in every field and generated expertise to explore and implement their own new ideas to market them. Each invention is thoroughly examined then every element is tested with electronic devices to match their standards or customizing them as per new specifications. Now the most difficult engineering and scientific tasks are done in mil-seconds in other words it has increased the work speed to save time and money. The saved time and money can then be utilized in different directions. A new desktop employment opportunity network has been created to fill unemployment gap world wide. The need for handwritten resume is abolished thereby saving postal mail delivery time is a big relief. However life has become more hassle-free as we dont need to leave our chair to buy an airline or movie ticket, just sign-in the bank account or give credit card number for cash withdrawal to purchase tickets. With every new invention may also have adverse effect on employment ratio, the suppliers and middle men are in worst condition and wondering streets for new job or joining training college is further loss in their earnings and educational expenditure or student loan is a long term budget which cant be recovered in months or possibly in coming years. Many department stores closed down due shortage of customers and unaffordable rent expenses thus causing higher unemployment rate. How much we have gain or how much we have lost due to new technology is unknown to general public or comparitive statistical report is published in this regard. Does any Muslim knows how much money they are spending in foreign eduction. Muslims are so much obsessed with the saying of prophet Mohammad (SAW) with few Hadith like Go as far as China to learn which is not an authentic as declared by one Chinese Muslim student himself when I met him in a mosque. The other Hadith I am aware of is Seek knowledge from cradle to grave. Going to China is worthwhile than going anywhere else but Sir Syed Ahmed Khan did not realize to learn Chinese language, but Allama Iqbal mentioned about China in his poem Chino-Arab Hamara Hindustan Hamara. I want to mention here that the best education a parent can give to their children is Islamic education. Make them a human first to change their life style. Maulan Yousuf Patel of Brampton Makki Masjid visit our Hansen Musalla on the 27th day of Ramdan and noticed youths and children listening to his speech attentively. He said Muslim children who goes to the mosque 5 times are more well behaved than those who are away from their culture. I therefore conclude that education in true sense is Islamic education; wheras seek knowledge from cradle to grave is that every Muslim child after birth hears the Athan Allahu Akbar and upon death Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Elehe Rajyun. We are visitors in this world, live, perform our duty and return back to Allah. I pray to Al-Mighty Allah to give sense to all Muslim Ummah to understand that the best education you can give to your children is Islamic education, but there is no barrier to give worldly knowledge.
