Best parts of this years Freaky 5k 1. The best race announcer Terry Bisogno will once again be on hand not just announcing the runners/walkers as they finish, Terry will also give updates on start time alerts, weather, course, Kids Trick or Treat 1/4 mile run and of course make everyone feel welcome. 2. This years we have a special lol Grand Marshall and race starter Mr. Rick Secor-- Rick-- due to bad leg injury has not been running LI as usual so I want to show Rick how much we appreciate how much we love him. 3. Bigger Cash Awards to Top 3 overall M & F and Top overall M & F Masters, plus course bonuses. 4. TOP 5 in each age group get awesome awards (5 year groups) 5. On time start (for both races) and accurate--completely closed course. 6. Long sleeve Dri-Fit racing shirts to first 600 registered. 7, Mile Markers , Large Arrows mark the course, and a very big Candy stop and mile 1 1/2 if you like along with two water stops 8. DO NOT have to wait all day for raffles (amazing ones too) they get pulled as you run and you decide what you want to try and win. 9. If you cant wait we will mail you out your awards 10. Of course lots of refreshments and plenty of goodies and desserts from Francescos Bakery 11. A perfect Flat Course through local streets of Wantagh--not many turns or long straight-a aways 12. making it better every day hope to see you on the 19th of October
