Weed Lemonade Makes 25 servings 8 g. marijuana 1 bottle (750 ml.) high-proof vodka 6 1/4 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice 4 2/3 c. simple syrup 3 l. club soda Directions To make the cannabis-infused booze: Very finely chop the marijuana (including stems). Spread the weed on a pan and bake at 225 degrees for 60 minutes. In a quart-sized Mason jar, combine the weed with the vodka. Seal with an airtight lid and give it a shake. Store in a dark, room-temperature place for 48 to 72 hours, shaking occasionally. Then strain through a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth. To assemble: Throw some ice cubes in a highball glass. Add 1 ounce of infused liquor, which should be the correct dose of THC to get you pleasantly, moderately high, not put you in a catatonic stupor. Add 2 ounces of lemon juice and 1 1/2 ounces of simple syrup. Stir and top with 4 ounces of club soda. Wait an hour before deciding you need another glass.
