Betsy Hansen is now pain free. She has left us all with life lessons to live by. Put all your petty bullshit behind you and love your family and friends, because you never know when they will be taken from you. Betsy fought long and hard to her final breath. It was so comforting to watch her transcend into the next realm if reality. She has taught me to not be afraid of what is to come for us all. You will never understand what it is like to fight and keep positive while your insides are being consumed by this horrible cancer until it actually happens to you. It became the norm for us so we just dealt with it the way we do with everything else, with jokes, laughter, and love. I will not lie, I was scared to death inside most of the time but she did not want us to live in fear because fear feeds your soul. I am so tired right now I dont even know if I make sense right now. There will never be another Betsy Hansen.
