Between FIFA and Gaza, these days my News Feed is taken over by (largely) bandwagon fans. Folks, please spare us the fake tears. Not too long ago, many of you were jumping over each other to post about Syria. While people are still dying in Syria, apparently its not fashionable any more. Seriously! If you do intend to do something meaningful, please donate to an actual charity which is helping the people in Gaza. Get over this crowd effect of re-posting and re-sharing memes and pics and thinking that you are doing something amazing. You are not. You are just part of a crowd. And wasting everyones time. ps. And while I am at it, rest assured that Facebook will not donate $1 every time you decide to share a horrible picture. Nor will Bill Gates donate anything, nor Warren Buffet nor Shahrukh Khan. All it proves is that you are dumb and the share button should be taken away from you. Some overweight jobless kid in his parents basement is falling over in laughter when the stupid graphic he created while taking a poop is shared by 200,000 silly people who think they are doing something to help the poor kids in Africa. Sheesh!
