They present the things that appeal to your emotions to get you to respond in the way that they want you to respond. Many times they present the things that make you angry or afraid. Politicians do this all of the time but the media is a master at it. Also included are the political and news pundits. Challenge the things that are presented to you that are specious in nature. Do not allow anyone to control you through your emotions.
