Big congratulations to our NEGS and St Johns students who have been nominated for the 2014 Armidale Sports Councils 15th Annual Sports Awards. A large number of children were shortlisted as finalists in their individual sports and the NEGS nominations included Clare Askey (hockey), Bronte Dagg, Lizzie Hancock, and Laura Strelitz (equestrian) and Hayley Whitehill (highland dancing). The NEGS under 16 girls hockey squad was also listed as a finalist in the junior teams division. More than 200 people are expected to cram into the City Bowling Club tonight for the awards ceremony.
