Big news then...we are now Eastbourne Free Dance, a group of facilitators who will bring their different styles of free dance teaching to sessions each Thursday at 7:30pm in Leaf Hall, Eastbourne What is free dance? Well the common thread is that there is no right or wrong, or moves to learn and master. The essence is in following the music and allowing the music to move you. Free dance forms in this sense include 5 Rhythms, Biodanza, Ecstatic Dance, Spiritual Dance, Gestalt in Movement and more. Each facilitator will bring their own flavour of free dance to bear, and well publish here as we go along the sessions that are due each week. For now I can confirm that Jenny Mace will lead the first session, which will be on the 18th of September, and Clive Hedger will lead the session on the 25th. After that will be Scott Doane, with one further teacher to be confirmed as yet The cost per session is yet to be decided, but will be no more than 8 pounds, with concessions available If you are interested in teaching, please contact Scott Doane by leaving a message here.
