Blessed and Eternal Creator of All There Is: I know You to be the essence of good and the soul of peace. I ask today that You hear our cry for peace. I know You to be the giver of life, the living breathing core of our being. I ask today the You restore peace to our minds and heart and lie and street. I know You to be Love God yet there is blood spilling in our streets. We need peace today. I know you God to be wisdom yet there is anger and hatred and frustration filling our hearts and minds. My God, My God, we need peace. I know that with one Word, one mighty move of Your presence across the vastness of the earth, our hearts can be healed, our minds can be opened and we will see the Presence of you in one another. Where is Your peace God? Where is the understanding? Where is the truth that will set us all free from the against-ness in which we live in this moment? What must we do to know the peace that will saves us from ourselves? The peace that will silence the rage and hatred and dishonor of the life you have given us? Today, Precious Lord, I ask that you shower and infill us with peace. Silence our tongues from speaking angry words that wound our hearts and disturb our minds. Open us to see the way into Your will and out of the beliefs and judgments and power seeking mis-use of the will that You have gifted to us. Bless the mothers who crying with Your peace. Bless the wives who mourning with Your peace. Bless the children who are now fatherless with Your peace. Bless those of us who are watching and waiting and wondering how to un-create what has been created by the belief that we are separate from You. Bless those in roles of power and authority with courage and wisdom to see the truth, know the truth and speak the truth to the people they serve. Bless them also to know that they must hear the people and love the people in order to serve the people with a wisdom that reflects the presence of You in them. Deliver our leaders from the distortions of the egos that blind their eyes and deafen their was to the needs to the people. Bless us, the people who are hurting and angry and confused with hearts of reason and compassion so that we will recognize our role and stand in a way that leads us all to peace. We need a silent night of peace-filled hearts, peace-filled minds and a spirit that make our peace the priority. Bless us Precious Lord with a silent night of peace that will infect every aspect of who we are, what we do and how we do it. Dear God, we need your peace. I ask knowing and believing that with You all things are best. I am trusting and believing in Your power and presence. Do it God! I ask fYou to do it in us, as us, through us and with us.
