Blimey. Crikey! What an intense couple of weeks!!! So the last we talked, there was just a sick Chookie and Pixel, and Dreamer was on heat, and I was still recovering from my tubal ligation. We were doing great with Pixel, and nearly 3 weeks down the track he got ONE little cat biscuit in his mouth, and broke it again, which meant a whole new operation to wire his jaw together. We were a bit freaked out about how much it was gonna cost this time, but the vets are some of the most generous people in the world, and have only charged us for anaesthetic and bandaging! What gems. Theyve got a custom made thank you card coming :) Chookie has gone downhill again, but Im renewing my time and efforts with her and hoping shell still come through it. Glad to report that all my worries about possible after effects of a tubal ligation have come to naught, its been totally perfect, Im so healed its wonderful, and my mojo is fully back, as well as an intense sense of being reborn into a spiritual phase of my craft! We had the beautiful Red Gypsy Lauren and her family here for a week, and prompted by the experiences of a fellow blogger, I have a beautiful reconditioned Macbook Pro in my life. That turned up at the same time as beautiful new glasses from (I have it on good information) the best optometrist in the region, Tina Fuller :) And we all got to know each other even more, and had an awesome, loving and close time together. Sleeping out under the stars to watch for shooting stars and meteors (I took the wus option inside with the littlies), having awesome conversations and shared experiences. During that time, Spiral was dancing on a bench top during a techno disco fest the kids were having a blast with, and fell off, and has fractured her arm in a way that doesnt need a plaster cast, but needs to be wrapped and rested for weeks. And then last night, beautiful little Maxie Moo was dancing and spinning on one leg, fell over, and was in pain, but hes a wild little creature who can often have a turn and cry for the joy of it, and has no tolerance for pain at all, so we bandaged his leg and waited till morning to see what was going on. He couldnt walk this morning, so Currawong Song took him to our lovely Nimbin Hospital, and it turns out hes broken his leg, with a spiral fracture right down his shin bone!! Poor little darlin is in Lismore Hospital right now getting the very first plaster cast for our family!! 3 breaks in as many weeks. Hope the law of three is done with us now, and we can have a bit of a quiet minute now. Equals and Opposites all round and through our weeks has been a wild wild trip. I think Im getting used to such a roller coastery ride of a chaotic life that keeps resulting in blissful harmony!! Oh, and we had a market meeting with the beautiful Narelle the other night, and hatched some MARVELLOUS plots for our Nimbin Markets as well.....
