Bobby Mackey`s Hell`s Gate Located in the small town of Wilder, Kentuckey, Bobby Mackeys Music World has been the talk of the town for many years.This tavern is said to be the most haunted and sinister location in America. Many people believe that Bobby Mackeys is the portal to Hell. Before the building became a lively bar, it was born a slaughter house in the 1850s. The slaughter house closed down in the 1890s and was left abandoned, or so people thought. The only original part of the building to this day is a well that was used as a drainage for animal blood and remains, which became a place for cults and a small local satanic group to linger and practice rituals after the slaughter house closed. Pearl Bryan(5 month pregnant) was murdered by her boyfriend Scott Jackson as sacrifice to the devil, her head was thrown in the basement well where there was still animal blood, Jackson was accused and hung for murder of Pearl Bryan and he said he will return and haunt the place. Before it became Bobby Mackeys Music World, it was a nightclub. The owners daughter, Johanna, fell in love with a singer at the club. She became pregnant and her father was very angry and had the singer killed. Out of emotional hardship, Johanna attempted to poison her father but took her own life instead. The autopsy showed that Johanna was five months pregnant, the same as Pearl Bryan. In 1978 a young country singer named Bobby Mackey purchased the building and turned it into the music hall and tavern that still stands today. People never leave without any paranormal experience in the place, Stairs near the well in the old slaughterhouse have been deemed the stairs that lead to nowhere. and phantom footsteps are heard there. Bobbys wife claims to have been overcome by the scent of roses in the basement, grabbed around the waist, picked up, thrown down, and pushed down stairs by a force, that resembled sketches of Alonzo Walling, screaming, Get out! Get out! She refuses to set foot in the club again. Shadow figures seen, glasses getting thrown, garbage bin flying in the air, people getting pushed by unseen forces, music getting changed in jukebox on its own, lights turning on and off, Perhaps the most bizarre aspect of the Bobby Mackeys saga are the claims by several people that they have had spirits enter their bodies while in the club, Paranormal investigator Zak Bagans of Ghost adventures was attacked by demon and had three scratches on his back. There are lots of cases of demonic attacks and possession in the club. The most celebrated case of possession at Bobby Mackeys is Carl Lawson, who lived upstairs above the nightclub as a caretaker for the club. Lawson, one of the main subjects of Hensleys book, claims to have been attacked by several of the resident spirits and actually possessed by some of them as well, including Alonzo Walling. A supposedly successful exorcism of Lawson and the entire building took place at Bobby Mackeys on August 8, 1991.
