Bodelwyddan Castles gothic remodelling was largely inspired by Gwrych Castle. Two buildings, similar in many ways but their histories have diverged in recent decades. It goes to show how quickly these important landmark buildings can fall into ruin. Bodelwyddan Castle Trust commends Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust in its fantastic work to raise local support for the conservation and preservation of this unique site.
