Bold for Christ Have you ever wished you could witness without fear of rejection? Pray in front of someone or a crowd without worrying about “how” someone was listening to you? Have you ever wondered, how can I be a bold believer? Three things will help you to become bold for Christ. -Keep Company with God: Talk to Him and Believe (Matt 21:22) -Have confidence in God: Know that God will never leave you or forsake you (Deut 31:6) -Be Courageous: Be on guard, stand firm in the faith…(1 Cor 16:13) Often we want to immediately be a Joyce Meyer, like the Praise Team Leader at our Church, pray like bro or sis so-n-so or even preach like pastor! Being Bold for Christ in your own right is more sincere and make take time to get there. Start by praying whenever you get a chance. When you first open your eyes, in the car, in kitchen, washing clothes, etc. It doesn’t have to be long (The Shortest Prayer – Matt 14:30 Lord, Save Me.) Praying builds confidence. All ready confident in praying? Step it up. Ask a neighbor or co-worker if there is anything that they would like you to prayer about for them, this opens the door for witnessing. Already witnessing? Invite that person in the line at the grocery store to come to church. Leave a tip & a church tract for the waitress at the restaurant. We must be Bold Believers if we are going to grow in our Christian faith. Have a Bold and Beautiful Sunday!!!
