Bosch customer Communication Concepts, Inc. will be demonstrating our technology at the 2014 RSSI C&S Exhibition at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville this week. The event is designed to help railroad and rail transit communication and signal representatives stay up to date on the latest technology. Federal mandates now require that products integrated into critical infrastructure sites achieve higher levels of protection and compliance to reduce risks and threats. In response, Communication Concepts is showing a secure solution for railway stakeholders to monitor high value and strategic asset locations. Using a secure communications framework designed by Bosch and SecureXperts, an information security firm, Communication Concepts will demonstrate how users can access video surveillance footage using strong cryptographic standards for identification, multi-factor authentication and encryption. Darnell Washington, CEO and President of SecureXperts states, “SecureXperts is pleased to work with Bosch and leading systems integrators such as Communication Concepts in key critical infrastructure protection sectors, increasing the confidence that these systems meet new and emerging federal mandates for supply chain and endpoint security of physical security infrastructures.” Attendees can see how access to our AUTODOME 7000 HD PTZ camera is possible using a crypto card and biometric reader – eliminating the traditional user name/password combination. This method of accessing IP cameras provides a higher level of cybersecurity, ensuring resilience against attack or breach by hackers or unauthorized users. The company will also showcase how it is using our Intelligent Video Analysis to design customized process improvement systems for its customers. This allows railway operators to identify instances of ramp violations or other incidents at any site monitored by Bosch video surveillance cameras. By quickly locating this data in their surveillance recordings, operators can use the information to help improve the safety and efficiency of their rail yards.
