Both the little-Little and I are under the weather today. Shes home from school, snuggled underneath a nest of blankets in her dadas recliner. Ive given her an antihistamine which pretty much translates to goofy syrup. the little-Little: Mama. Mama. Mama. MaaaaMA! MAMA! me: Ohmygod, whaaat?! the little-Little: Whats the difference between a chicken and a grape? me: I dunno, baby. the little-Little: Wait. No. Ummmmmmmm.... Whats the difference between a chicken annnnddddd... {looks all around, tryin to find the right word}... and... and... ummm... a grapeFRUIT?! me: What? the little-Little: Theyre both purple! Except for the chicken. me: {laughing} Thats a good one, sweetheart. Close your eyes and try to rest. the little-Little: {closing her eyes} Youre crazy. Grapefruits arent purple either.
