Breaking News! And Sad One!....This person shared to me this Story and i want the forum to discus responsibly... Dear Mr Saeni, Iam not sure if this forum is the right forum to bring this topic up for discussion so that women can come forward with their stories and a recommendation be made to the medical board to put such people on notice. I decided to come through you knowing the sensitivity of this issue and also being a foreigner though my partner is from Solomon Islands. If you think this topic is worth putting it out for discussion then please I ask you not to disclose my identity and nationality. My partner is from Solomon Islands. She just shared with me a story that she went to a particular private clinic in Honiara for a medical check a couple of weeks ago and the private Dr there did more than just medical check on her. She decided to let it go because at court of law there will be lack of evidence simply because it all happened behind closed doors. But I told her there are probably hundreds of women who have gone through this experience as well and are keeping quiet and probably hundreds unknowingly are also lining up for medical checks and will go through this,unless stopped. We do not do anything and our daughters or nieces will be the next victims one day. Yes medical profession is a noble profession and I have a lot of respect for those who genuinely practice it but at the same time there are only few who are tarnishing the good profession and need to be exposed. Am Sorry but i want to share this now or never!
