Breaking news just in: before I was getting leanest by cutting carbs completely and now I am on a decent amount of food/carbs and leaner than ever. This was the progress report from my HPL member Gregor. The first part sounds familiar right? Dont worry, Ive been there myself. To get lean I must cut my carbohydrates.... to nothing. Man, Ill never forget that time I cut them out completely. I became a different person. A MONSTER. Friends and family didnt want to be around me, and truth be told, I didnt want to be around them either. Life was... well, pretty s**t. So I needed to find another way. If I was going to stay in shape (that should always be your goal), I would need more carbs in my diet. BUT.... When I ate some more I put on weight and felt bloated. ahhhhh, I know, carbs just arent for me. Im carb intolerant. One of the unlucky few who cant eat carbs and get into shape. Ill blame it on dem genetics. This was wrong. Very wrong. Heres how I changed all this and can now eat hundreds of carbs per day and stay at my leanest: **Theres more to it than just carbs.** Have an understanding of the calories, protein, fats AND carbs you are eating. Dont get fixated on just one nutrient. Theres a hell of a lot more to it than how many carbs you are eating. But it doesnt need to be rocket science either. You just need to consider: How much of the other nutrients you are eating too. Once you find a balance between ALL of these important factors you will soon discover how carbs can become your friend again. How they will help you get stronger and leaner.
