Britain will now send the Royal Air Force to reinforce the US-led bombing campaign in Iraq, as MPs voted overwhelmingly to back air strikes on so called Islamic State militants. Yeah lets just murder thousands more and make the situation better, cos bombing the crap out of a country always help doesnt it? for which we are in large part responsible for creating in the first place with the 2003 Iraq war and all that came after. ALL three main Westminster parties backed this. Il provide a list on those who voted for and against when i have it, make sure you know how YOUR MP voted today AND last year when they voted on bombing SYRIA too. Dont just look at their stances/record on Palestine, look at their overall record domestically, how theyve voted and their positions on such issues. Especially when it comes to our Human Rights and Civil Liberties. Kick out the warmonger, the zionists, the islamaphobes. Lobby and apply pressure in all the ways we know how. This is the system we have, for now. Its going to screw us in every way, but might as well make it more difficult for them to do so, whilst working towards alternative(s). Shame on pro-austerity MPs who say there is no money left - total liars as they vote for spending MILLIONS on bombing Iraq again! Elect more independent minded MPs and make sure to re elect MPs like Caroline Lucas You dont have to agree on everything, but shes a damn sight better than the majority of other MPs on a whole lot of things. (See comments for more) The vote was decided by a margin of 524 votes to 43 MPs from the Scottish National Party voted against air strikes in Iraq. RESPECT ON THIS: Labour MP Rushanara Ali has resigned from the partys front bench in order to abstain, on the vote against military action in Iraq.
