At least, it would be pernicious if his attempts to conjure a sinister bogey-man out of perfectly legitimate complaints about some poor journalism were not so patently ludicrous. If the forces of British nationalism are going to demonise Alex Salmond and the democratically elected government of Scotland, they are going to have to find somebody rather less inept at the black arts of propaganda than this bladder.
