Brokenness Is Good ~ Show Your marvelous loving-kindness, O You Who save by Your right hand those who trust and take refuge in You from those who rise up against them. Keep and guard me as the pupil of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings. Psalm 17.7-8 David said "Lord, I am like a broken vessel" (see Psalm 31:12). Brokenness seems bad, but through brokenness we rid ourselves of the outer shell, the layers that need to stripped away in order to bring forth the good things that are within us. When we put our trust in our Father, and allow Him to reveal the tender part of us that we try to hide from, we can be vulnerable and pliable and able to change. Brokenness can be good when it comes from the one who loves us unconditionally. Good Morning Father ~ David said "But I trusted in, relied on, and was confident in You, O Lord; I said You are my God (Psalm 31:14). May we be like David, willing to allow You to reveal our weaknesses and find the strength to overcome them. Amen ~
