But sometimes, we wait in vain, for something that will never - TopicsExpress

But sometimes, we wait in vain, for something that will never happen. Why? Because there were clues from the very beginning, but we didnt pay attention. Its like if I tell you If you harvest 200 pumpkins Ill give 2000$, and you go through incredible struggles, but you manage to harvest the pumpkins. Then I tell you Ok, Ill pay you the money, but you have to ship the pumpkins to my country for me to pay you when I receive them.....That, I didnt tell you from the start, but it was something predictable, so you were basically fooled, because when you research to send the pumpkins my way, it happens that there are custom restrictions, and you cannot export to my country, unless you are a registered producer of pumpkins, and you can export more than 20.000 pumpkins a week, and so on. Then, you wasted your time and energy and money in something that would never happen. So this the longer the wait usually is not like that at all. There is an enough time for everything, I thing. If something is achieved too quickly we cannot value it properly, but if something is achieved too late, its whole meaning could have been lost, so theres a middle that has to be reached, always. And of course, never rely on someone else for your achievements, rely only in yourself. That way, when you achieve something, youll be happy, but if you dont, you wont blame someone else , (which is inevitable if you feel at a loss because of somebody elses actions), but rather youll try harder because the outcome depends on you, and only in you. This, I learned too late for many things. Hope it makes sense to you too, if you guys ever get to read it. Oh, and Thanks to Peter Wong because even when it wasnt the original intention of his post, it derived in my little rant =D
