But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God,.. 1Pet2:9a. The Apostle revealed who believers are to God; chosen people, royal priesthood,etc. Though, the Israelites were previously chosen(Exo19:6,Deu7:6), but didnt abide in the vine and got detached(Jer3:8,Hosea1:6,9). Now, those who believe in Jesus have been restored. Brethren, who are we to be chosen while some are still stumbling? -If indeed we have been saved by grace, shouldnt we glorify God by doing Rom12:1? *Do we see other believers as royal priesthoods, whom Christ bought with his blood or treat them like dirt? *Are we living as a holy nation? -Are we allowing Gods plan to manifest in our lives (Titus2:14,Phi2:15,Eph5:26&27) or opposing him by defiling ourselves? 1Jh3:8,Mat12:30 *Do we truly belong to him if we continue in our sin? 1Jh2:5-6,3:10 *If God didnt spare the natural branches due to unbelieve(Rom11:21),shouldnt we be faithful to John15:4-5? God help us all in Jesus name. Amen
