By Judy Robinson -Disobedience, even if its just ONE area, even in what we might consider a small thing, is still compromise & it is a THIEF ... disobedience in that one tiny area is all the enemy needs to get the proverbial nose of the camel in our tent ... he doesnt have to move quickly, because he moves (nevertheless) with STEALTH to slowly & surely steal, kill & destroy even what we DO have in the LORD ... Ive seen this happen in the lives of ppl who refuse to obey & Trust GOD in every area of their life ... instead of taking a Stand to Fight the good fight of Faith when it comes to yielding to the LORD in that area of our life where GOD desires to free us - instead, what happens is that one area of compromise ingrains itself deeply into our lives (taking root), becoming a stronghold ... thus we adjust ourselves to live comfortably with it & eventually we can barely feel (if at all) the stirring Holy CONVICTION of GOD to surrender to Him completely the thing by which we are bound ... subtly, but surely, it pulls us away from GOD & keeps us longer than we ever intended on staying ... Nothing that calls us AWAY from GOD is worth keeping in our life ... NOTHING at all!!! The Good News IS: the Finished Work of Calvary still sets us FREE today ... why would we want to settle for LESS than what JESUS came to give us --- why should we not take advantage of the Victory He Gloriously purchased FOR US? If the SON therefore shall make you FREE, ye shall be free INDEED. (John 8:36) WORK OUT WITH GOD TODAY - EXERCISE YOUR FAITH - WATCH WHAT HE WILL DO!
