CAMPAIGN BROCHURE To expand on my brochure, I have always been interested in politics and now that I am retired I have the time and energy to give to being a Town Councillor. Over the years I have played an active role in the community volunteering with various groups. For the past three years I have attended about 85% of the Town Council meetings giving me a huge insight into the operation of the Town and the responsibilities of Council. I feel that fiscal responsibility is crucial to the growth of the Town. An industrial park would create a stronger economy and add diversity to the area. It is obvious that as a Town Council we need to be progressive rather than reactive. We must have a long term plan in place that will provide the infrastructure and services required to encourage both families and businesses to move and stay in this Town. I believe we must ensure that our facilities meet the needs of our growing community. New recreational and cultural facilities would result in a higher quality of life for all citizens. Edson will continue to grow if we provide the same or better services offered in other Towns. On the campaign trail I learned that the citizens of Edson want open door politics; they want change and they want leadership. If given the chance I want to provide all of these and more when elected to Council. On Monday, October 21 vote for Trevor Bevan. T
