CAN YOU HELP ? WILL YOU HELP ? This project was set up to collect donations to create rucksacks which will be handed out to the homeless people in the NorthEast. These items include things like warm jumpers, hats, gloves, tins of soup, SLEEPING BAGS, FLASKS, toiletries, anything that would benefit someone who is sleeping rough on our streets. A full list of suggested donations along with over 20 Drop off zones can be found on our webpage It started from a basic idea but thanks to the power of social media and the kind hearts of our people, we have became a community of caring souls who want to help others. We arent a registered charity (have been taken under the wing of Angels of the North) but a team of people who want to make a difference. We have made 200+ rucksacks so far, which have been handed out to homeless people across the region via hostels and the streets. These rucksacks have helped the people who received them so much! Not only stay alive in the cold, but also to stay positive in the knowledge that lots of people care about them. We have now got to a point where we can help not just the homeless people, but other deprived communities. We have gave boxes of womens/childrens clothing and toys to Womens refuge, like minded charities and groups and even Stranded Seamen on the Tyne! Please get in touch if you can donate ANYTHING! We will find a deserving home for it,whether its people being re-homed after living on the streets, families in crisis or those on the streets. We are continuously blown away by the groups kindness, it needs to keep going in order to keep this campaign running! Please help us, donate, collect, help out and or just help spread the word.
