**CATEGORY 4 HURRICANE Gonzalo packing winds of 140mph poised for direct impact on Island of Bermuda*** Models have shifted a bit to the east overnight and this will now put the track of Category 4 Hurricane Gonzalo almost directly over the island of Bermuda on Friday. This will be a very dangerous and slightly rare situation for the island. This has the potential to cause extensive destruction. The hurricane will likely weaken a bit as it approaches Bermuda, but it is still likely to retain Category 3 intensity. Bermuda was directly impacted by a much weaker tropical storm just a week ago.
