CCTV Sequel to Changfu Chang documentary film The Long Wait for Home From Changfu Chang: Interview with CCTV: At around noon tomorrow, CCTVs Waiting For Me program will do a Skype interview with me for an adoption-related program. For those of you who have watched Long Wait For Home, you may remember there is an amazing story about a birth family. When they had to relinquish their over-the-quota baby, they left a note hoping whoever adopted the child would come to meet them at the reunion bridge in Hangzhou 10 years later. It so happened that the note was passed on to the American family who adopted the child, and that the American family honored the request by arranging someone to go to the bridge on that day...and full of suspense! That was almost 10 years ago, and a dozen Chinese TV stations including CCTV covered this story at that time. Now, CCTV is doing a sequel to this story. The program will air in December. They will give me a copy and I will secure their permission to put a link to the program. China Report will gladly promote Changfus link to this update when it is available in December.
