CERMAK & MARSHALL -- Un joven de 17 años murió de dos tiros al pecho esta mañana, segun reportes. A 17-year-old boy was shot dead Sunday morning in the Little Village neighborhood on the West Side, police said. The teen was talking to friends on the sidewalk in the 2200 block of South Marshall a few minutes before 6 a.m. when two people walked up, shouted gang slogans and opened fire, police said. The teen was shot twice in the chest and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not immediately confirm the fatality.
