They are playing card of discord, ethnicity, religion, disunity and greed without knowing where to draw the line and without sympathy for the common man and by implication, the effect on Nigerian unity and economic growth. AS I PREDICTED, Since after the mini convention, state matters are being relegated to the back seat while meetings and counter meetings, negotiations, sleepless nights and spending of scarce resources are the order of the day, governors, ministers, party leaders, supporters, and sympathizers are all living in Abuja at the moment, followed by accusations and counter accusations with high tension that might result in some of them going home with ill health and other related problems One may ask, why must few individuals and some ethnic zealots subject the Nigerian people to this situation, is this how to build a nation state in this 21s century? These are things that hoist hatred in the minds of people, things that supposed to happen more than thirty years ago is still happening now, why? If the renegade PDP members were to put the country first, this incident of breakaway will not even occurred in the first place because the general principle vision will be of moving the country forward and how Nigerian people will ripe the dividend of democracy and how the winning team would be retained not removed The grievance is not because of lack of performance of PDP as a party or the President, but how to steal power through blackmail, intimidation and application of religious and ethnic sentiment! The future consequences of this action is very simple; if GEJ is denied his constitutional right to contest the 2015 general election, I believe the sweet crude oil will become the exclusive property of the people of the Niger Delta and their allies, while GEJ second term will escalates the boko haram terrorist activities. In the case of crude oil and boko haram becoming a choice, who will be the winner and the loser? of course the crude oil will be the bride of everybody, both corporate bodies and international community, thereby, prompting the provision of all the necessary logistic assistance to crush the orphaned leprosy called boko haram It is natural that you can’t fight the man holding the yam and knife; you can only negotiate to be given some pieces out of it, our northern politicians should be cautious of their grand-standing antic and bravado if they really think of Nigeria as one nation state. spirit of tolerance should be invoked either by fire or by storm Four more years is just around the corner, why so much in a hurry, or, are some people afraid of the ongoing reforms in nearly all sector of the economy? AGRICULTURE: no more quick money from fertilizer scam by exclusive chiefs, emirs and some influential lazy politicians POWER: unbundling of the sector to be managed by private firms for efficiency and transparency OIL AND GAS: PIB Bill that will bring transparency into the sector, which was strongly resisted by northerners in the national assembly and the plans to secure oil facilities and putting a stop on oil theft RAIL SYSTEM: exclusive trailer haulage taken away from the mafias FINANCE: Okonjo Iweala being a pain in the neck to those stealing and sharing our common wealth, blocking the free siphoning of Nigerian people money through the AGF office and Ministry of Finance MILITARY: no more let my people go policy; you work hard and earn your promotion and courses CIVIL SERVICE: central payment of workers through the office on the AGF, which has exposed over 50,000 (fifty thousand) ghost workers. Though position of PERM SEC is political, but now you have to sit for exams before promotion, (Judiciary, Population, etccccc) Their arguments (case) of producing the President based on party rotation formula is not strong enough to warrant the present attitude of heating up the polity, GEJ and co; also have a strong case which is backed by the Nigerian constitution. If you put the two cases on a scale of justice, equity and fair play, I think GEJ and co; case will take the yeaaaaaaaaaa, since the Nigerian constitution is more superior to the that of party constitution, YOU GET? am not against the north or any groups aspiration (after all I have a lot of good friends from that region) but I am after how this country should move forward without all these nonsense, period! Northerners should take everything as a FORCE MAJEURE and spare us with the making of American prophesy come to pass in 2015
