Yet the NC Legislature passed this law with total disregard for our wild whitetail deer resource as well as domestic cervids. An egregious mistake was made by our Legislators when signing the SESSION LAW 2014-100, SENATE BILL 744, SECTION 14.26, - by allowing deer pen expansion in NC to be signed into law - a mistake that could cost taxpayers, landowners, and business in North Carolina billions of dollars over our lifetime and beyond. This is very likely the most critical issue you will ever have the opportunity to impact. We are all busy people. This is an issue worth making the time for.
