CIA was virtually without any oversight whatsoever between 1953 - TopicsExpress

CIA was virtually without any oversight whatsoever between 1953 and 1975. That would included the CIA Coup in Chile in which David Attlee Philips-- who was deeply involved in the Dallas Coup of 1963-- played an important role. Then there were three years of Congressional investigations into the MLK an JFK assassinations that are very important to study because of both what was learned and how these investigations were limited, by murders, media and loaded selections. These investigations took place between 1975 and 1978. Then CIA, recovered from these limited hangouts, continued on its completely unregulated ways. This would include the year 2001 and all the years since. Any so called 9/11 investigation that fails to take into account this long history of virtual autonomy by the CIA and the implications for the relationship between CIA and the rest of the government that evolved over that long history, is a completely worthless investigation and a lie to the world. This history is censored most on the left, because CIA learned a long time ago that to control the left, you need special disinformations artists who have credibility in that small but influential audience, and then this disinformation from an OSTENSIBLY left mouth will blow back across the entire spectrum by creating OSTENSIBLE points of agreement at different points on the political spectrum.
