CORRECTION: On July 23, I posted that the Maryland Democratic Party may be sponsoring a survey of nonvoters to understand their thoughts and motivations. I was misinformed. The state partys political director Chuck Cook tells me the state party will be working to motivate registered Dems to vote in November who did not vote in the primary or in previous general elections, but the party is not commissioning any surveys or doing other research on voting behavior in the primary.
