CPec. I have written and spoken of many memories but what is CPec? From the time we had nothing but an idea to now running lessons. Poco and Jagger were first on the scene. I put them on the property where Cc used to be. One spotted pony who was quite full of fear. We thought he had cushings until he lost all his hair. With a rug on and lots to eat. He soon picked up, the next issue his feet. With herbs, a good farrier and vet, A better pony we could not get. Jagger had an ear infection and slight case of itch. But a bit of an ear clean and treatment we got rid of it. We did lots of fencing with Sonya Andrews and the boys. I brought lots of gear, lots of feed and new toys. With a vision to get started with a team of four. Candice Brown brought Pepper in to the team to make one more. Pepper was the star of the show. Although she was afraid of wheelchairs at first, did you know? A little grey pony was next. But our kind of lifestyle made him stress. With only one seeing eye and a playful mind. He stole many hearts including mine. He wanted to be a one family pet. So I reluctantly put him on the market, that life he would get. But sadly for him it was all so crazy. But happily he finally found his family. So it was thought the property was too far gone. In order to start lessons we had to move on. I must admit I was sad to go. But where we are now is better to grow. Lucy joins our little herd there. She is a beautiful girl whom I love to share. With all our young clients who think she is beaut. And all the others think she is so cute. Well lessons began which was totally awesome. The difference it all makes to peoples life is absolutely horsem. From calming people down and in powering them too. Some folks began telling me, its all you. It isnt of course and I tell them straight. Its all the supporters, volunteers, Tracy Emily Tynan our coach, the committee, our animals and the clients mate. Now we have a farm of lovely animals. Some rescued, some given and all kinds of calls. I try to always put them where they want to be. I try to listen to the signs, do they want to stay or do they want to leave. Most want to be right where they are. I know Id want to stay where there is plenty of food, easy food and lots of loving heart. We are all like family with no bull at all. Each one of us ready to help someone up in life, should anyone of us fall. We celebrate life together and how lucky we are to be here. There are so many special family members of CPec to list here. Kind hearts are always welcome to join the family. The environment of CPec is truly lovely. Animals do something that people cant. They are joining us all together, never think they arent smart. Here my focus is not on disability. My only interest is in improving ability. So CPec is many great things. But to sum it up I shall have to think. Its wide open spaces where stress goes away. Its the place where, I can, is said all the day. We are all different but yet the animals see us the same. Its where the true person is found without fear, without shame. The spirit of CPec is in the smiles of all. We now all know we can stand tall.
