Call for Entries: Tesla Conference January 10, 2015 Topic: Teaching Tesla in American Schools. We call all interested scholars to take part in the Conference and submit papers on the topic. Selected authors will be invited to present at the Conference, and select papers will be published in the Conference monograph. We envision getting Tesla into the school curriculum as a combination of science and arts – teaching the children about Tesla’s science and philosophy in a visually appealing and interesting way. Tesla has been an inspiration for many, and our goal is to motivate the youth to explore the paths blazed by the great inventor and build on the ideas and technologies he introduced, for the betterment of humankind. In addition to the Conference, we will organize an exhibit about Tesla in cooperation with the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade. The best papers and presenters will receive “Tesla Spirit Awards” and the “President’s Award” from the Tesla Science Foundation, at the gala dinner following the conference. Right before the dinner, in the evening of January 10, 2015, we will unveil the bust of Nikola Tesla in the lobby of the New Yorker Hotel.
