Call for Nominations for The Secretary’s Exceptional Employees Photo Recognition Program August 29 is the deadline to submit nominations for the Secretary’s Exceptional Employee Photo Recognition Program. This program recognizes eligible Foreign Service, Civil Service, and Non-Career employees, as well as Interns, particularly the ‘unsung heroes” of the Department. We cannot accept nominations of employees outside the Department -- no contractors or outside organizations are eligible. Selections will be based on the criteria and procedures described below. The selection of honorees will take into account geographical and logistical constraints.
