Candy is seeking advice regarding the #Epilepsy medication Lamictal - We have a 4 year old son who has been diagnosed with both absence and complex partial seizures. His last EEG showed seizure activity on both the left and right sides of his brain. He was first only taking Tegretol and has recently transitioned to only taking Keppra with a vitamin B6 supplement. He has had TERRIBLE rage and anger issues while on Keppra, which is NOT normal behavior for him. His Pediatric Neurologist wants to transition him off of Keppra on to Lamictal. My husband and I are very concerned with the possible side effects of Lamictal. Has anyone had experience with Lamictal? We are also looking into the CBD oil treatment, as medical marijuana is now legal in our state. We would appreciate constructive, helpful feedback from others in the Epilepsy community.
