Carlo Ancelotti said after the Rayo match that his side have more penetration when Gareth Bale plays from the start. We always try to play the same way. Its clear that Bale gives us greater penetration and ability, he remarked. But our playing style doesnt change. Playing against Rayo is always tricky because you cant rely on dominating possession, the coach added. Ancelotti also explained why it was Isco that got the chop to bring Bale back: I took that decision because James had played 30 minutes less against Liverpool, but it may be the other way around in the next game, in that I could play Isco and not James.
