Chauncey had a seizure around 2am this morning as we were going to bed. Scared the heck out of me as I suddenly realized I didn;t know what to do. First time this had ever happened to me with a pet. I We made it through and after a few minutes he came out of it. First thing this morning I took him to the vet. She couldnt find anything unusual but did take him off a supplement I started recently just to be cautious. She said sometime this happens but is a one off. His thyroid is a little low though that shouldnt have caused a seizure. Trying a thyroid med and a change in diet. I will take him back in three weeks for a check up and evaluation. IN the meantime i will keep a close watch for any further problems.
